A trip to Tirunelveli

This journey occured on third week of july 2022.

I boarded the 22628 Thiruvananthapuram- Tiruchirapali intercity for this journey. Which was lead by a wap4 from arrakonam shed. The journey was done in unreserved coach.

At 11:30am the train departed from Thiruvananthapuram central railway station. The route between Thiruvananthapuram and nagercoil is a single track section which meant we had a crossing with Bangalore bound island express lead by an krishnarajapuram wap7 37526.

We then reached the ever beautiful nagercoil town railway station at 12:50pm.

Since this train doesn't goes to nagercoil junction we had a great view of Nagercoil.

At around 1:25 pm we reached valiyur railway station the train was before time here so we were halted for 5 min. I used this time to take photographs of our locomotive and valiyur railway station.

At around 2:00 pm we where halted at Tirunelveli outer where the palakad-tiruchendur express crossed us lead by a golden rock wdg3a

At around 2:15 pm we reached Tirunelveli railway station where my journey gets over.
