My first experience on the vandebharat express

This blog says about my travel experience in indias 16th vande bharat express ie the Thiruvananthapuram-kasargod vande bharat express
The journey occurred on April 25th. Which was the date for the inaugural run of the first vandebharat express in kerala ie the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod vande bharat express. Which was set to be inagurated by the honorable prime minister of India shri Narendra Modi, The cheif minister of kerala Shri Pinnarayi Vijayan and the railway minister of India Shri Ashwini Vaishnav. I reached Thiruvananthapuram Railway station at 6:00 am in the morning Along with the passes for the . I met many railfans from kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka who also came for doing the journey in the vandebharat express. At 7: 30 am Childrens from various schools of Thiruvananthapuram arrived railway Station for traveling in the vandebharat train from Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam. The security checking process for us started at 7:45 am and we entered the train at 8:00 am. The coach alloted for me was C6 and seat number was 26. I sat at my seat and started talking to fellow railfans. Then we started to explore the train from inside and taking photo from inside and outside. At around 10:45 am the prime minister Shri Narendra modi arrived at station and he entered the first coach of the train to interact with school kids and crew of the train. At around 11:10am the flag off function started and at 11:15aam the honourable prime minister waved the flag and the train departed from Thiruvananthapuram central railway station. Everyone onboard the train was excited to see the prime minister who was waving outside the train . At around 11:25 am the train reached kochuveli railway station where snacks was loaded for the passenger who where onboard the train that day. At around 11:30am the train departed kochuveli railway station. And soon we got to see the excitement among common public for this train. With people taking video from mobile phone at each and everystation which the train skipped. At around 11:40 am the ticket checker who where onboard the train started to check the tickets ie the passes. At around 11:45 after the ticket examination was over we where served a 500ml railneer water bottle. At around 11:50 we got the welcome snacks which was packed by shri krishna sweets. Which consists of banana chips, muruku and badushah and a frooti was served. At around 12:20 pm we reached our first half ie kollam junction railway station the welcoming that the train got at kollam junctions was just unbelievable. It was obvious after seeing that this would be a new experience and a special journey for me. The train departed kollam junction at around 12:25 pm. After departing kollam junction i started to check the speed of the train which was a constant 100kmph not the fastest one. At around 1:00pm we reached kayankulam junction. Where the lunch was boarded for the passenger onboard. And we departed kayankulam at around 1:05 pm. Lunch was served at 1:20pm which was prepared and packed by pappadies catering from kayankulam. Which consisted of vegetable biriyani, curd salad and pickle. At around 2:15 pm we reached kottayam railway where the sabari express bound to Thiruvananthapuram crossed and people onboard that train was taking video of the vandebharat express. We departed kottayam at 2:20 pm. That was the excitement among people for this train. At around 3:00 pm we reached kochi outskirts. At around 3:15 pm we reached Ernakulam town railway station where majority of the people who boarded from Thiruvananthapuram deboarded. After departing Ernakulam town the train was a bit empty so i went to check the economy class of the train. The 360 degree rotating seat was the icing on the cake as i enjoyed the 360 degress seat till aluva station. After departing from chalakudy railway station rain started to pour down which made the journey evenmore beautiful. At around 5:05 pm we crossed the bharatapuzha bridge was marked the entry of palakad division. At around 5:15 pm we entered shoronur railway station. From where the controversy started as members of Congress party sticked the poster of there leader on the train outside which was not necessary. Though rpf was quick to remove it. At around 5:20 pm we departed shoranur railway station towards kasargod. After departing from shoranur the train started to do a mps of 110kmph. At kuttipuram we overtook the coimbatore-mangalore express. At around 6:50 pm evening tea was served for the passengers. At 6:30 the train reached Kozhikode railway station where dinner for the passengers onboard was loaded. At around 7:10 pm dinner was served. The dinner was prepared and packed by salkara hotel a unit of the famous paragon hotel. The dinner consisted of vegetables biriyani,curd, pickle and a laddo as desert. At charuvatur railway station we overtook the netravati express bound to Lokmanya tilak terminus. At 9:05 pm we reached kasargod railway station where the journey came to an end. It was definetly a different experience for me. As i have done many train journey all over india i could say this was one of the best experience in a train journey.
